Ahoi Ashtami 2018, Ahoi Ashtami Fast and Celebrations 2018
Ahoi Ashtami is Hindu festival that is generally observed by mothers of sons. It is observed on the ‘ashtami’ (8th day) of the Krishna Paksha (the dark fortnight of moon) through the month of ‘Kartik’ in Hindu Vedic calendar. In the Amanta calendar as followed in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and some southern states, it is observed during the Hindu month of ‘Ashwin’. As the celebrations are observed on the ‘ashtami’ tithi, for this reason Ahoi Ashtami is also called as ‘Ahoi Aathe’. It corresponds to the months of mid-October to November in the English calendar. Ahoi Ashtami is observed 8 days before the Diwali celebrations and four days after the festival of ‘Karwa Chauth’.2018 Ahoi Ashtami Wallpaper Download
